Use this menu to locate an address or find a location on the map. Type the address, street intersection or name of the building (e.g. Tempe Public Library) you want to locate and the map will zoom to that area and place a red circle at the location.
Use this Tool to perform a data update or reclassification.
A bookmark will retain the map extent so that you can return to a particular area any time you want. I am not writing more right now because I am not sure about sharing options.

Use the arrows on the left and the right to navigate and add additional data sources to the Map.
You can also add data from external map services such as Arcgis Online or add in content from Google Earth Files (KMZ or KML)
Use this menu to add a data service to the Map Display Layers section, or to remove a data service from the Map Display Layers section. A data service is a collection of similar data layers (e.g. types of community buildings in the Community Buildings data service).
There are three ways to add data:
Choose Project Data
Use the arrows at the right or left side of the menu to scroll through multiple data services.
Choose External Data
Add data from an external source by typing in the web address of the source map service.
Choose KMZ
Add data that is in kmz or kml format by either adding it from your computer or typing a path to the data (if it is available over the internet).
Use the Query Tool to search a layer for features matching a keyword.
Use this menu to identify and/or search for data on the map using information in the feature table.
Run a Quick Query
This function will allow you to select features based on information in a table. First select the map service and layer for which you want to get information.* Then select a field in the table that you want to query. Next, select an operator (the like operator will look for values in the table that contain any part of what you wrote and the equal operator will look for exact matches). Finally, type in the value you want to select from the table and click “Run this Query.” Any features that match the query will be highlighted in red and information about those features will appear in a table.**

Search Multiple Fields in a Layer
This function will allow you to select features based on information in a table using two different fields in the table. First select the map service and layer for which you want to get information.* Then select a field in the table that you want to query and click the “Add to Query” buttton. Next, select an operator by clicking once on the operator you want. Finally, pick the value you want to select from the table (Step 4B). If you want to add a second set of constraints to the query then you can click the “AND” or “OR” operator and then repeat stpeds 3 through 4B. When the query string in Step 5 looks the way you want it to (something like City = 'MESA' OR City = 'TEMPE'), click the “Run this Query” button. Any features that match the query will be highlighted in red and information about those features will appear in a table.**

If you want to get rid of any selected records or any shapes that are drawn on the map, click the “Clear Search Results” button which is situated over the map.
Use this menu to identify and/or search for data on the map by interacting with the map.
Click on the Map
This function will allow you to click on the map to get information about different features First select the map service and layer for which you want to get information.* Then press on the “Start Clicking on Map” button and when you click on the map, any features that you click on will be highlighted in red and information about those features will appear in a table. **

Select by Shape
This function will allow you to draw a shape on the map to get information about features that fall within that shape. First select the map service and layer for which you want to get information.* Next, pick the type of shape you will be drawing and when the menu disappears draw the shape on the map. When you finish drawing the menu will reappear. Click the “Get My Results” button and the shape will turn green, any features that intersect your shape will be highlighted in red and information about those features will appear in a table.**

Buffer and Select
This function will allow you to draw a shape on the map and buffer that shape, to get information about features that fall within the buffer. First select the map service and layer for which you want to get information.* Next, pick the type of shape you will be drawing and the distance you want to buffer that shape. When the menu disappears draw the shape on the map. When you finish drawing the menu will reappear. Click the “Get My Results” button and the shape will turn green, a buffer will be drawn around your shape in red, any features that intersect your shape will be highlighted in red and information about those features will appear in a table.**

If you want to get rid of any selected records or any shapes that are drawn on the map, click the “Clear Search Results” button which is situated over the map.
This function will allow you to create a chart based on information in a table. First select the map service and layer for which you want to chart data.* Then select a field in the table that you want to chart. Next, pick the type of shape you will be drawing and when the menu disappears draw the shape on the map. When you finish drawing the menu will reappear. Click the “Create my Chart” button and a chart will appear with some summary statistics. You can export the chart to a variety of vector files.

If you want to get rid of any selected records or any shapes that are drawn on the map, click the “Clear Search Results” button which is situated over the map.
Use this menu to identify an element on the map.
When you click the Identify button and then click somewhere on the map, a menu will pop up. The menu will tell you the available data layers which are drawing on your map and allow you to pick the layer that contains the element you want to identify. Once you have chosen the data layer from the drop-down menu, click the “Show My Results” button. The element or feature that you clicked on will be highlighted in red and a table showing the information for the feature will pop up.
Please note: you need to have your pop up blocker off for the table to open.
Use this menu to zoom to a latitude and longitude. Using decimal degrees, enter the latitude and longitude and the map will zoom to that area and place a red circle at the location. For example, a latitude of 33.393 and longitude of -111.929 will take you to the Tempe Public Library.
This application provides a method for Local Public Agencies in Arizona to provide input on roadway information.
When the application first opens you will have the opportunity to select the road data you would like to view: Ownership, Maintainership, Federal Functional Classification. Other information will become available in this tool in the future.
To see a summary of road information for a particular agency, click on "Agency Summary".
To request a change to a road's Federal Functional Classification or to edit ADOT's record of ownership or maintainership, click on "Suggest a Change", which will walk you through a questionnaire.
To learn more about data on the map, simply click on Identify and then click on the map.
